Sustainability

01

Sustainability

We work directly with the farmers who grow our tea. That's the MICHI approach.

02

Tea sourcing

We buy directly from family-run farms in Japan, rather than through intermediaries. We visit these farms each year. This means we know how the tea is grown, and the farmers are paid a fair, agreed price rather than a market rate set by traders.

You can find more information about this certificate at: https://www.oeko-tex.com/en/
