DESCRIPTION
Made in Takayama by Kubo Sabun of the historic Chikumeido workshop, this smoked bamboo chashaku showcases one of the region’s traditional finishing techniques. The bamboo is gently smoked over time, deepening its colour from warm amber to rich brown while subtly enhancing its durability and bringing out the natural grain. Hand-carved from a single piece of bamboo, each tea scoop is unique, carrying the quiet character and craftsmanship of generations of Takayama artisans.
